About PSG

The Parent Support Group (PSG) was formed on 4th August 2005 by Mrs Katherine Wong who was then elected as the Chairperson.

The objective of the PSG is to serve as an internal committee of SHPS and be in charge of programmes and activities that will help enhance the quality of education in the school. It was also formed in the hope of encouraging a closer network of links between the school, its families, and the community, whether it is in the form of offering opportunities for discussion of educational matters, or supporting/ participating in the projects of the school.

Through the PSG, we sincerely hope that parents will opt for greater involvement in the school. As valued partners in our children’s educational journey and by participating in the PSG, we will be able to strengthen the home-school relationship as well as share visions and goals to improving the school and contribute to a more vibrant school life for our children.

Mrs Katherine Wong stepped down as Chairperson in 2009 when her daughter graduated from St Hilda’s Primary School and is now part of the school’s staff as Programme Executive of the PSG. The current Chairperson is Ms Adeline Ko who took over as Chairperson from Mrs Katherine Wong.
